Shiver by Maggie Stiefvater

Shiver
by Maggie Stiefvater

Goodreads:

Grace and Sam share a kinship so close they could be lovers or siblings. But they also share a problem. When the temperature slips towards freezing, Sam reverts to his wolf identity and must retreat into the woods to protect his pack. He worries that eventually his human side will fade away and he will left howling alone at the lonely moon. A stirring supernatural teen romance.

Review:

Grace has been fascinated by the wolves in the forest every since she as a child, but one wolf in particular has captured her heart. She cannot really say why she is so drawn to this wolf, but there is no doubt that the feeling is mutual.  When fate finally pushes them together, Grace discovers her soul mate.

Shiver is phenomenal! Romance, secrets, longing, danger, and action...everything I want in a novel, how about you? Maggie Stiefvater is an incredible writer. She created these multifaceted characters in a world where reality, myths, and fantasy collide.

A page-turner for adults and teens alike. I bought this book over a year ago after seeing it on so many blogs. Unfortunately, it took me forever to get to to it simply because my TBR is overflowing, oh how I wish I would have read it sooner! If you haven't read this book, you are missing out!

I give this book:

Shiver is the first novel in The Wolves of Mercy Falls trilogy and is available where books are sold. Visit Maggie's website and you can download the first two chapters of Shiver and read for yourself!  Follow her on Twitter and like her on Facebook too.

This book was self-purchased. I was in no way required to write a positive review. The views expressed are my own.
