Guest Post: Stranger by Megan Hart

Meet Jamee - my little sister.

Jamee is also an avid reader, but she's a little shy.  So when I asked her to do a guest review on my blog, she initially refused. But to my surprise, she had been silently working on it. I'm thrilled to have her as my guest! Here's her review:

StrangerStranger by Megan Hart

I've been a fan of the author Megan Hart every since I read Dirty. I try to get my hands on any and everything she has written.

I just finished reading Stranger - I couldn't put it down.

Grace Frawley funeral director,  purchases male companionship because she is afraid of letting her guard down long enough to let someone love her and allow herself to love someone. One night while waiting for her prepaid date she flirts and picks up a stranger, Sam Stewart. Sam rocked her world and in order to forget Sam, Grace spends more time and more money on escorts. But the universe reunites Grace and Sam with unforeseen circumstances when his father passes away.

I could feel the attraction they had for each other through the pages. I found myself talking to the book as if they could hear me, "stop playing games". Many women can relate to Grace's hesitancy to letting someone in because of previous failed relationships or from observing others in bad relationships.

What I got from it was take a chance, let your guard down and let like/love in regardless of the outcome.

Thank you Jamee <3

@ Mike - Thanks so much for stopping by. My sister was a bit nervous about posting, so she'll apreciate the feedback!

This was wonderful to read. One reason was because you and your sister were sharing this. How fortunate you two are. Others were that Jamee reviewed so well and the book she chose was realistic. Guess I have a bias for realistic because that's what I write, and it was great to see a young reader reading and commenting on my category.

Tell Jamee I'd love her review of one of my books. She's a natural!
