It's okay

It's okay if everyone doesn't like you. It's quite okay if you don't make someone else happy. Your life is not meant to be lived by anyone but you, so that means it's okay to accept where you are in this moment.
People may label, slander, and judge you, but that's okay.  The only opinion that truly counts in your world is your own. Rumors may swirl about what you are doing or not doing, and that's okay too. What's best for your life is for you to decide.
The moment you stop allowing the opinions of others to effect your emotions is when you'll find true freedom. You were never intended to live up to their expectations.  There is no law that says that we all have to agree.  It's okay.
Today is the day that you grow into your new self.  The day that you let others presume what they choose, while you live in your own truth. Today is the day that you decide -- it's okay to be you.

Thanks for this post!! This is something I struggle with trying to please everyone and not even pleasing myself, but I've started taking steps to put myself first!! Thanks again!!
