It's friday night and after a long, exhausting week, I was finally able to sneak in a few hours of sleep. Boy did I need it! I have still been back and forth to the hospital seeing after my father, but tonight...I was able to stay in my absolute favorite place...home.
After my three hour snooze, I woke up revised and refreshed (for the time being). Unfortunately, I haven't had much time for writing over the last two weeks, so it doesn't look like I'll be completing my 100 hubs in 30 days, but I have decided that it's okay. Sometimes the victory is not in accomplishing the goal, but in the journey itself. I am going to continue to post hubs until the challenge is over and I will take pride in however many I am able to write. This challenge has inspired me and that is exactly what it was meant to do...goal accomplished!
But tonight I'm not writing (well I guess I am if I'm writing this blog post). I decided to spend this evening blog hopping! I have bounced from blog to blog reading posts, leaving comments, and enjoying every minute of it! I found a great recipe for Vegetarian Sloppy Joes over at The Happy Home , discovered a few new books I need to read at Autumn Blues Review, shared thoughts on living for my higher self with Lucille in the Sky, pondered my fitness and weight loss goals on Bee Fab for Life, and checked out the Oscar favorites on Colleenie's Couch. It has been a very eventful evening and I didn't have to leave my sanctuary!
Of course this evening wouldn't have been complete without my fuzzy socks, warm robe and a spot of Camomile Tea. Now it's after midnight and the only sound to be heard is the clicks of my fingers dancing across this keyboard. I could go to sleep now...but I am enjoying this far too much. Just a few more minutes, a couple more blogs, and a few more sips...then I'll call it a night.
