Truly Experience Life

What would you do if everything that you thought made you who you are was suddenly gone?  Your car, your house, your job, your money...all gone.  If everything tangible were taken away from you, who would you be?

If you don't know who you are in the absence of "stuff,"  you've got a lot to learn about yourself.  Acquiring things can make life easier and may even be a source of enjoyment, but they can never give your life substance.

In reality, everything in this life is impermanent.  Things will change.  Money, jobs, and cars will always come and go.  Even people are only in your life for a time.  But the true essence of life comes in moments.

A series of moments will make up this day.  Your five senses will allow you to experience today through smell, taste, touch, sight, and sound.  Rather than looking for something to give your life meaning, use the senses that you came here with to truly appreciate the life experience.

I love reading comments, almost as much as I love reading books!
